does anyone watch this? to day was the start of season 2. which was a preety good start. if you havent seen it ,it was between two late model mustangs. the first race one of them over filled his gas tank causing it to leak awarding that race to the other car. second race that same car with the leak was given a 5 1/2 car lengths and won by half a car. race 3 the mustang with the leak broke a drive shaft triing to jump a 4000rpms. the forth race he didnt move because they were tring to find a drive shaft causing him to loose. the final race he got a drive shaft and was given 2 1/2 car length and lost by 2 1/2 costing him his car. this was a better first race then the first one of first season.
 
yeah I watched it a couple times. I like it. Coolest part is no imports! I'm sick of ever car show today having to be about ricers..
 
I've watched the show, but it's downright torturous to watch at time. First off, it's ghei as hell to be trying to run a race in a street race format at a drag strip. If they're gonna do it there, then they should use the lights and handicap the drivers by number of seconds.

Furthermore, if they HAVE to do it in a streetrace format, they shouldn't be using the cameras to see if someone jumped, they don't do that crap on the street, if someone jumped, they line the guys up again and run them again, plain and simple.

And I don't like the fact that Speed Channel goes to a commercial every 3 minutes, and cuts out right as the race starts. Half the time slot is commercials, and I can't sit through that crap. It's not very interesting when all I see is negotiating.

Still my favorite racing is with the motorcycles, at least the Gs1100 and Vrod, those guys were neck and neck. I didn't like the GSXR1100 vs the zx11 (or whatever it was), the final race was ghei.
 
yeah i know how you feel about the comercals. i usually have it recorded with my DVR then i watch it later so i can fast forward. oh as for the imports on the comercals it show a red honda civic so i dont know. the thing i dont undersand about the people who go there is why would you go there and ask for lengths? when this is set up they make a phone call the set the deal up before hand so they know what the other persons running. my favorite was the race between the blue nova and the red corvette. that was a good one since the nova didnt ask for lengths. he only asked for the corvette to take the second stage of nitrous off.
