Pinion question/problem?

Can I dremel my pinion just a hair so it can fit my spur gear. I when to the hobby shop but forgot what the mod# was and got 1.0. The spur is 0.8. The teeth line up ok but the pinions teeth are to fat. Can I dremel them just a bit to make them narrower or would that create problems? Its a 5mm pinion.

take it back and get the rite one. these are precision cut and you'll burn up spirs left and right

Yeh take it back and get the right one thay aren't that expensive and it would be impossible to grind all the teeth exactly the same.
