These don't look that hard to build. My wife jokingly said I'll be renting a bobcat to make one in our back yard... if the yard was just bigger...

I've built tree houses stronger than that. the local track I go to uses that metal shelving stuff that Hardware and lumber stores like home depot uses. It works well.
