I though I would share with you guys what my primary mission is.....putting planes in the sky to extend the reach of global power. As our motto goes "Nobody kicks ass, without Tanker Gas! Nobody!"

my uncle designed valves for the thrust vectoring system on that. another dude he worked with designed the actual panel thingies that vector the thrust

Very cool pics.

No kidding....cool stuff. I work jet engines by trade....when I actually still cranked wrenches.

they are the only plane that can fly backwards 300 mph and recover.
nah straight up he designed for dupont. thats not the snakehead maneuver but it shows what goes on in the snakehead maneuver

It's amazing what that thing can do in the air after they added that power brake pedal. :whhooo:

Are you the nozzle man in the rear of the tanker? That's the greatest view in the world.

Sweet pics Joey! Reminds of watching the Stealths do refeuling runs over my house before I moved last summer. A couple of times a week they'd fly over. Usually 1 or 2 but sometimes 3. Most of the time they were just gettting in formation but a few times they were hooked up. I didn't get that kind of view though, mine was from the ground.

Nope I'm not a "boomer" just a lowly mechanic.... :D

SO BADA$$!

And I thought I got to see some amazing things being a photographer!

Just look at the design that went into those Raptors! Unbelievable use of form and function! Takes be back to the first time I saw a SR-71 Blackbird! Changed everything for me!

With thrust vectoring, you would be amazed at what they can do. It's not like having a break pedal but dang close.

The F-22's and F-14's are cool and all, but I still think F-16's are the most beautiful. It looks like it should have a prancing horse emblem somewhere.

Sadly, I thought I heard that the F-22 program is being scrapped. I suppose the F-35 will be fine. I'm like neobart, though. The F-16 is by far the most beautiful fighter out there. Small. Fast. And it scares the hell out of me because of that. Plus the the sleek Great White style just looks bad ass. We have a squadron of F-16's here and I get to watch them fly over the city twice a day. It's pretty awesome.

thanks for the pics man!! i work for space ops so i dont get to see alot of the military stuff. awesome pics man!
