Picture trouble!!

For some reason whenever I go to view a picture in someone's post al i get is a little red cross where the image should be. It's quite frustrating! Any suggestions?

The picture should be right there in the post. It's either linked to the gallery on this site, or an outside site for pics.
What are you getting in the post, a link, or is the red x all you see?

All I get is a red X

On the top of this page, the first item on the left in the dark blue menu bar is "My RCNT".

Click on that, then you'll see a list of options running down the left side of the page. Go down that list till you find "Edit options" and click on that.

You will now get another menu running down the center of the page.
Go down the list till you find "Visible Post Options".
There are 3 items there:

Show signatures
show avatars
show images

Make sure they are all checked.

Damn, unfortunately they are all checked. That would have been a nice easy fix but sadly not such luck. Thank you for the suggestion though. anymore? lol

crappy internet connection? i know when my internet slows way down it wont load pics like it normally does and gives me the little box with a red x....

Well, I just checked all you preferences on your registration page, and everything was in order.
I'll leave a note and a link to this thread for the forum administrator, and he'll check into the problem.
Lots of great pictures on this forum, so just hang in there and we'll make sure you can see them soon.

One more thing...
At the bottom of the main forum page are some thumbnail pics. Can you see those? What happens when you click on one of them?

Yeh I'm sure there is, It's annoying when people are like "Yeh great paint job" and "your car looks awesome" lol even i could paint a red X on a car but yeh thanks for that.

I can see the thumbnails and if i click on them it opens a link to ebay.

I think you're clicking on the wrong thumbnails.
At the bottom of the main page, with the listing of all the forums, they're under a dark blue menu bar labeled "Featured Photos".

As suggested in my PM, you need to check your internet settings or your firewall. You can also try downloading Firefox and see if that works for you. At this point, we believe the problem is on your end.

For some reason it seemed to have fixed itself, kinda handy. Maby it was just what somebody else suggested, my b******s connection :S. It seems to be working now anyway. Thanks for all the help guys.
