thanks cody, yeah its the axle stub shaft wich is what the axle hooks to then hooks to the wheels so no biggy really, like $12 for a replacement....and thats my buddy, kevins, van. he's into those, he just got a 62 (i think) bug, doing a engine swap, interior, and fully slamming it...

Glad it's not more serious!

I had a '66 Bus back in the day. The "Dream Machine". Lame, I know, but we had a lot of fun in it. Then I got my '72 El Camino. Not sure what I did with that dang Bus...

lol yeah, I'm not too partial to vw's my self but they arent bad...can carry alot of crawlers in it lol...

Yhat looks like a killer course your buddy has there Lloyd, sucks you broke though, and how the hell did you durn out a dig servo on a electronic dig? not much load on it I would imangine... nice pics too bu the way...

must have just had my endpoints set alittle to far i guess, its a micro though so kinda ready to brake anyways lol, i have another one though...yeah its a bad ass course, it was used last year for a 1:1 comp and now we use it..

I don't get it...
how can you brake something when you are going so slow?
so many air jumps and roll overs with my Revo and nothing broken yet and you just broke a shaft while going few miles per hour?!

because of how much torque these things are putting to the ground. so if you get bound up in some rocks wich is always gonna happen you put everything under extreme stress. your revo doesn't have the torque of one of these...plus I'm running one motor per axle, twice as likely to snap something.

dude!! that thing is like STUCK to that rock!! thats impressive man, nice driving. its almost vertical!

thanks bro, yeah she does very very well, plus those rocks have very nice traction...

looks like alot of fun u had

for sure, I've been waiting for ever to get out on some rocks!!!! hopefully i'll have it back up to tip top shape this weekend in time to put on a comp!

Thanks Joe and Martin....our news guy is named Joe Martin lol...
