Thanks yeah I've got a couple more things I wanna do one is to upgrade to the 2.4 ghz system a roll cage and some RPM shock towers to go with the ture track and the front control arms. Love that RPM stuff!! The bulkheads are from New Era www.neweramodels.com. and the shocks are Team Bluestar with threaded aluminum bodies. All this made a big huge improvement in the way the truck handles. I picked up a Savage X used the other day but shreaded the spur gear on it after about 5 minutes of running. I will be picking up a cuople new ones Wed. can't wait to get that bad boy up and running! I also plan on gettin a new Revo soon.

how do you like the Big Bore shocks? I've been looking into a set.

And what do you think of those tires for bashing? Currently I'm running the classic chevron pattern but I see a lot of your style tires out there.

I love the shocks they were a heck of alot cheaper than the traxxas big bores www.teambluestar.com is where i got them from. The tires that are on it in the pics aren't mine they came off my neighbors 2.5 which is in a box in pieces waitng on some new bulkheads. I just wanted to try them out. I like them pretty good they dont get much traction on pavement but in the dirt and grass they hook up really well the wheels are smaller so it changed the gearing a little due to less rotating mass and these tries dont seem to balloon as bad as the stock ones

Nice, I'll have to take a look at those shocks.
And yea I have a what used to be a classic, basically a 3.3 now thanks to ebay but I'm still running the older wheel size cause I've been pretty happy with the old tractor tire tread style.

I think my neighbors truck is or was a classic. His is basicaly a 3.3 now too. Thanks to me and all my spare parts and my labor. We kinda got this deal going he fixes my ole ladys car and I keep his rc truck running.

Sweet rig cwal. I was just curious? Does the 4908 come with the steel spur and if so what is the stock tooth count?

No it doesn't come with a steel spur. The stock tooth count is 58 on the spur and 22 on the cb. I have a steel spur from Integy that I ran for a while but it kept eating up my clutch bells so I went back to the plastic one. I also have a 20 tooth cb that I run when I feel like puttin on a wheelie show!
