Don't mind the chains on the tires.A guy from another forum posted picks of his Savage with chains and I got bored one night and did the same thing.I still haven't got a chance to test them though.

That actually does look really nice man. I would be totally afraid of one of those chains coming loose and beating my savage and body to death.

The chains are actually really tight. The rubber bands are just their for effect;) .I have to take them off though because it's like 65 here today and all my snow melted and I wanna drive today.

Nice Ride

I hear that the Snow Chains work really well...
may have to try it out myself if only it would snow alrdy !

Nice ride for sure. Was checking out your throttle/ brake linkage and was wondering how much improvement it is over the stock? I am looking for a better, more responsive setup.

It's a big improvement over the stock setup. The mod is extremely cheap. For the money i'd say is one of the best mods to do at first. The brakes are much better and the throttle opens all the way instead of just part way like it did before.

Check this thread "Throttle linkage setup" by CRSMP5. He has picks and part numbers. Darn close to this one. I did it on my savage and wow what a difference it made.

Thanks! Did you get them online or LHS? I have to use Hobbytown a lot and they have little selection as far as linkage goes. May just look online to get exactly what I want.

Thats the article I read when I did mine.He has the whole install covered and has all the part numbers. My setup use's the same parts as his only I used a few extra peice's that came with the linkage and modified the brake arm a bit. It's a very cheap and worthwhile upgrade to do.

Heres a few more shots after I made a mess yesterday=devil

they look so much better DIRTY don't they!!!!! ha
Nice bent shock shaft. That means you were having fun!
I just witnessed a new Associated Monster truck with the .27 Sirio in it. FAST is all I can say. He stripped out first gear and he is still breaking it in. I assume it comes with plastic gears though. I think the .26 could take him. ha ha
