well i finally sat down and took a breather and look up a whole bunch of stuff on why i couldnt get my revo to run right... it would bogg under just about anything other than full throttle, the i adjusted the high speed richened the low speed and finally got it running good, sometimes though it has a "flutter" when the throttle is closed but seems to run good i think its still a little rich as there is pretty good smoke trail. Also after cleaning today i noticed there is alot of oily dirty residue around the front of the engine around where the gears and clutch are it was soaked pretty bad around there any idea why or is that normal... here are some pics

that is way too clean man go get it dirty. the flutter when the throtle close's is a sign of a lean lsn. richen a very little bit and it should be fine

i just spent 3 hrs cleaning it.. i was under the impression its suppose to be cleaned like that after every run... it took almost the whole nascar race today to get it done lol

well damn i thought it was brand new. my hat is off to you for a good cleanup job

Nice truck!!! Your like me in the sense that I typically clean my Rc's almost every time I run, depending on how dirty they are. The oily residue around the front bearing, is not normal. Check for a front bearing leak. That could be causing your engine to run lean, and in turn give you poor performance.
