Olds - I need to bash with you some time bro as you sounds like your hard on the equipment..hehe. That's my kind of basher. Damn dude, you spent some bucks on bearings. I hope they work out great for ya.

Jon2 - Here's a nice ass set. They're rubber sealed but sound awesome. http://www.2coolrc.com/bearings.html FYI....I just orderd some Integy shocks from them recently and the shipping was fast. I still can't make up my mind on which bearings to get but I might end up with those.

Peace

I am still wondering. I have heard the rubber sealed ones are the best for all types of terrain but I am still waiting for a set to put on that are tested and loved. I need em for my maxx and MGT

I built mine like a tank. I think the only stock parts i have left are the receiver box, shock towers and... nope, that's it.

I beat the crap out of this thing. I needed somewhere to get rid of the pent up anger i get at work. But now, i rarely have to "fix" anything. Mostly just wear parts, like the bearings and tires.

DOn't like the aluminum much for my maxx but that ride is still bad ass man.

I used boca on my xxx-nt and they are nice. Have had them on that truck for over 6 months. I think i have put a few gallons through it since. I bought them from a hobby store, it was all they had and i liked them. So i'm dumping the extra dough on my maxx in hopes that they work out as well.

They are green rubber sealed.

alright guys, here is a pic with the body off

Bryan - Nice equipment bro. It sounds like you actually work for it to so kuddos bro. When I was you age I would have loved a big toy of that bash caliber..hehe. So your running the Venom speed meter? If so how do you like it and what was the highest recorded speed? I'm thinking of getting one, somone was telling me that they only work with electric but I don't think so.

Peace

I read about the speed meter. It will work on nitro as well. It's powered by the receiver pack. You have to permanently mount a magnet to a rotating shaft, like a center drive, then mount the sensor withing a few mm of it.

They have instructions for installation on their site that explains pretty much how it works.

thankz again guys,

30%nitro, lol, that is my venom temperature guage. since with the xtm conversion, there is a big spot there that the old throttle servo used to go. so instead of having nothing there, i put my temp guage there! works good right in that spot. i took a little piece of metal, drilled the 4 screw holes and mounted it on the regular servo mount!

LOL Bryan. I've been thinking about one of those. I've been happy with everything I've bought from Venom in the past. I wanna c this thing after you throw another "$500" in it. My beast should be ready to pose for the camera in two weeks depending on how many more credit cards I have to MAXX out.

Peace

well considering i dont have credit cards yet, nor checks, i have to wait for the money!LOL i am getting a job by the end of next month so i will be saving for a car. but i will still put the $500 in the maxx first!!( my beast comes first)

i am going to put the JT hybrid racing chassis on it, and the RB concepts Rody C5!!!!!
