So today i got my new picco into my xl, and was ready to heat cycle it. I warmed the motor up to 150 deg primed it and turned it over, it didnt start but was close. I crancked it over again and it was almost there. One more time zzzzzz the motor wouldnt turn over at all, again zzz nothing. so i took it all apart and the one way bearing had a bearing half way out, poped it back in place and i can't get the axle pullstart into the one way bearing. What do i need to do next? I'm so P.O'ed right now.
 
Sounds like a warranty issue to me.
That engine has an internal OWB right? I'd replace it and send that one to Ofna.
 
Ok, the hobby store sold me the wrong rotostart piece or i was supposed to put in a different axle pullstart. I noticed that the has enought playin the backplate of the rotostart for the axle to push out from all the pressure. So after putting the pull start back together and putting the axle throught the backplate into the one-way anp put it back in, i got it to start. So now I'm in the process of heat cycling it. I just hope the one-way didnt get damage or that it will damage something in the motor, but it seems fine now. I got one question though. Is there supposed to be a spring from the ball joint cup to the high speed needle like on the 5.9 that returns the throttle closed?
