i need help i got a picco p3 .26 and i need a new underhead/button head. i orders one at my local rc store and they orderd it through cml but I've been waiting 6months, aprently cml said they can't get one for me. so just wondering if anybody can help

There is a Wasp .26 for sale in the BST forum for 45 bucks. Same engine as yours if yours is a big block and not the mid block for a Traxxas. Can't remember the model names Picco put on the Traxxas model. Anyways Picco made the Wasp .26 for Orion and they just renamed it and changed a few cosmetics. Everything will interchange.

If you don't buy it I will!! I don't even need it! lol I just love Picco mills.

Actually, the "Outlaw" .26 is no longer produced and it was a traditional large block that was not made to fit Traxxas products.
From what I've read, it was based on and produced after the P3 .26 and before the current crop of P2 .26 engines.

The "Outlaw" does share the same piston, cylinder, and connecting rod as the P2's (different crankshaft though).
Since the "Outaw" was based on the P3, I'm guessing that these would work in the P3 too - although Picco does list different part numbers for the P3.

Picco calls their current .26 the "P2 .26 for Traxxas".

Ofna calls theirs the "Picco .26 MAX SmallBlock".

mine is a p3 .26 but on the engine layout sheet its called a picco p3 .26 outlaw

It may simply be a case of a rose by any other name...

I've seen an engine diagram for a Picco P3 "Monster".
I've seen another diagram for the Picco/Ofna 26 - which I've known to be the "Outlaw".
The parts numbers between the two diagrams don't match up in any way, shape, or form.

Here's some parts numbers that I know to work for the Picco/Ofna .26 "Outlaw"
51442 Piston/Sleeve
51441 Connecting Rod
51439 Wrist pin
51440 Retainer wrist pin clips
51450 .26 Button Head

Here's the button head that I would order:

One of Ofna's biggest problems...part numbers. They are still screwing up on their new stuff as well. lol I bought the Picco buggy when it came out. Finding the correct parts was a pain. The included manual did not match the on-line manual. The part numbers listed beside parts that were sold for the buggy were wrong too.

Well Johnny,
Six months is about five too long.
I just called Nitrohouse (see link above) and they ship to England and the part is in stock.

Strange.
Did you try simply typing in their url instead of using the link?
http://www.nitrohouse.com

You could also try calling them.
I know you need a country code to get to the US, but their phone number is 800-928-0304
Part number is OFN51450

could you find out how much shipin would cost. cuz my LHS said they would order it for me
