I would suggest a forward only conversion from rrp. Also, some kind of cvds are a must. Unlimited engineering makes a titanium cvd i believe, but that may be overkill in your situation. I believe Dynamite makes cvds for the maxx. Check it out. Also would suggest some rpm a-arms.

I have the P2 in a maxx and I gotta say it is the most finicky bastard I've ever had....I run regular drive shafts in it Except the Center drive and never had an issue w/ those....you do need to make sure your diffs are shimmed very good though.....and the FOC is a must for every T-Maxx....

that engine will flip your truck on it's back going into 2nd gear if you're not careful.....
I'd recomend the New OS 18 TM over the Picco anyway....a lot less tuning hassle

I have had my p2 for a few months now and i love it. For me, its not finicky at all. So far its been very easy to tune, and stays that way suprisingly long. Its also super powerfull and will flip ur truck on its lid w/ out even tryin.

When i got the engine, i decided i would upgrade the drivetrain ect when the stock stuff broke. I'm glad i did this, cause it is all still stock after a few months of pretty good bashing. Only thing i have done is strip a spur gear.

Also, I'm running an RD Logics curved pipe. I never have tried it with the stock pipe, but many people say that a tuned pipe makes a world of a difference. If you dont allready have one, you may want to look into one.

Hope that helps a bit,

Hey that's the same setup I have.....I also went to a 24t Clutchbell to keep it from flipping over so much.....still does it,, but mostly going in to 2nd gear......

Similar to the Sirio 23 I was able to do wheelies on command as with the stock clutchbell I would wheelie and then flip over. I didn't even mean it either. I would recommend regearing to prevent that. As far as upgrades, I would do the FOC as that would remove the unwanted jerking when coming to a stop or just idling. I would also think of upgrading your Drive lines, CVD's can help transfer the power down. But your diffs may think different. My Diffs never did blow but I was always running the 2.5 till the Sirio 23.

The P2 has had a few mixed fellings as some say that the P2 tuning is a bit touchy and can change after running. No expereince there as I have not owned it.

"Olds" or Fasteddy can probably help you on finding what to upgrade on your maxx.PM them if you need.
