Turns out the is a Force series engine. It's getting really good reviews though. A lot of people are racing them. I found a good thread on RC Tech forums.

You know this engine is the same as the Killer 9 from RB. My engine guru tells me it's very high quality. Force have really stepped up to the plate.

That's what I've been reading, that thread has several high profile modders in it. Ab Mods, Maximus and few others.
I can't wait!!!!

Maximus is my engine guy, aka: supertib and Clockwork racing engines. He does great work.

I know him pretty well from Savage-Central. He knows his stuff.
This engine will probably go to ERCM after christmas. I am going to break it in first, weather permitting.

Got it today, she's purty inside. A lot of modification has been done for the price tag. Internals seem to be great quality and appear durable. Now I don't want to run it, I want it fully modded. What's wrong with me????!!!:hehe:

You have the same sickness I suffer from. I have four engines between my two racing rigs, and all are modded not for outright power though. They have been modded for smoothness and milage.

Yep, I love how smooth and quick a modded engine spools up. Plus they start even easier and idle better. Looking at my bank account, the mod is going to have to wait.:(

She'll be there within the month. She's smooth right out of the box. Crank needs lightened, the rod needs knife edged. I put about 600 cc thru it in the past two days. Starts easy and it's set perfect out of the box. I'm using O'D. 30% Race and 97T medium plugs with the long Ofna header and Dynamite 86 pipe. Too soon to say much, still sticks at TDC, but she wants to run! Second tank, it was wanting to rev! Very good midrange. I have not had it past 1/2 throttle either. I'll have to wait for it to break in to find out what the top and bottom will really do. I did not seal it, did not need it. She's air tight luckily. Runs around 200-240F depending on throttle input. Picture perfect so far. VERY good runtimes, over 11 minutes easily keeping pace with everyone else on the track.
