picco and ez start problem

ok when i goto turn the shaft on the brand new picco engine it gets stuck when the piston is all the way up and my ez start can't push it. has anybody had a problem with this is this supposed to be like that or is something wrong. and then i tcauses my ez start to overheat and smoke so some insight would be nice if i got a bad engine or waht

Heat up the head with a hair drier and crack the glow plug loose until it starts.

i have had it started for about 30 min so it got heated up and everything but now the ez start wont turn the gear its stuck i can't even turn it barely

A new pico will be really tight until it has been run(broken in). If that is not the case, then I guess you are down to tering the ez-start apart to find out what the problem is inside it. Sounds like you broke a gear and it is jammed.
