I didn't know this untill today, but picco came out with a .28 engine(witch I will be getting) My LHS has them in-stock, Everyone probubly knows but for those who don't, this is for you. P.S. I didn't know what forum 2 post this @ so scince i'm putting the engine into a savage, I posted it here.

Are you sure its not a Wasp .28?? (Which I have) I didn't know that Picco came out with one???
 
I am sure, it comes with a black cooling head, and the wasp .28 is blue with a silver cooling head, plus, i asked just to make sure.
 
Oh cool, does it look the same , design wise (not color)? Could it be similar as are the Picco .26 and the Wasp .26???
 
Alright this is a little strange. In case anybody doesn't know Andy is my friend and I was with him when we went to the LHS. There was a picco .28 there and I just thought it was new and I had not heard of it yet, but I looked for it on the internet and I can't find anything about it not even a picture. I even went on Piccos web site and there is nothing about it there. The engine is totally black including the cooling head so if anybody else finds out anything about it let me know.
 
No way this got by Mayhem's new product radar. I am skeptical on this one. I googled the hell out of it and came up empty. Be sure to post pics when you get it.
 
yes, that is strange that no information is out there. Manufacturers are kinda off sometimes it seems. Currently Kyosho has come out with a new boat. a Lamborghini C-1 Catamaran w/ a .21 in kit form. But it's not even on their website. It's on their japanese site but not the normal .com site. go figure.
 
Yeah I also Googled the hell out of it and I still can't find anything. Well we are going back to pick up Andys truck sometime later this week or the weekend so I will ask Erwin the LHS owner about it and where he got it from.
 
Both you and your LHS must have mistaked it for The Peak Diablo .28. It is the same motor as the Wasp but with a Black/black color.

That must be it. That and the Fantom FR .27, and the Wasp .28 all look identical except for colors lol.

I have the Wasp .28 and that is identical except for colors.
 
Yes, that is the engine, but, my lhs owner looked @ the wasp and the "picco", and he said that they're the exact same engine eccept for the colors.
 
I personally like the black on black better than the Wasp's teal/silver or the Fantom's Black/Silver. I belive that the Black powder coading radiates heat better than all other colors. The black heatsink I like just for effect. God chice if you decide to but. They are great bang for the $ engines.
