I'm looking into changing out my .21 for a picco .26. i was wondering if the roto start works with it. can you buy a roto start to work with it, or some kind of electric start.

Yes it works. The only difference is that your should have a spacer for the one-way, but I just put the spring back and it's worked through 3 or 4 gallons of fuel with no problem. Good luck.

Make sure you warm up your block with a hair dryer before you try and start it or you may strip out your one way bearing.
