I'm getting ready to upgrade my 3.3 basher to a Picco .26 purchased from another member. I'm putting a Werks Racing Monster Truck 4-shoe clutch on the beast. Is there anything else in the drive train that I need to upgrade?

Spur gear and clutch bell....Robinson Racing is my recommendation....and then just hang on for the ride....be sure to go back to factory and re-tune....what pipe you using??? It was insane with a Trinity on there..

I've got an OFNA clutchbell I was thinking of putting on there, but I'll just get the Robinson Racing. And yeah, I'm putting a Trinity Pipe on it.

I'm also reccomending robinson racing.

after 5 gallons of bad mesh.
(engine sat to war forward to get a propper mesh)

my robinsons clutchbell and spur gear both finally gave way yesterday after noon

Well, I'm tearing my hair out with the upgrade. The Werks Racing Monster truck clutch I purchased won't fit either the TRX 3.3 or the Picco .26. The nut that tightens the flywheel onto the crankshaft is too small for either. Then the Robinson bell and spur for the Revo won't fit on the new clutch. And to top it all off, the spur ate through the neck on my Motor saver. I've got to hand it to Traxxas though, my TRX 3.3 ate a second clutch and also the spur. So now I'm waiting on Werks to get back into touch with me about the clutch.

Hmmm.....I have an m2c racing aluminum clutch that worked great on there.......Sounds like the werks one is one size to big??

Anyway let me know if you want me to send you a clutch...its just sitting on my parts shelf.

I talked with Werks Racing today and they said that the Picco .26 Max is a "Midblock replacement." The other Picco .26 is a big block so I'm going to use it an set the Max aside for another project.

Well I am using a stock clutch and a Roinson Racing on the Picco .26 Max and running that in my Revo once I get it buttoned back and get everything meshed and playing well together. Thanks for the clutch offer, Talon but I've got it under control. When I blow this one, Werks Racing makes a clutch that fits both the T-maxx and Revo.
