I've been trying to start my new .26 Picco and I can't get it to even pre-ignite. I have changed the plugs and tested them. I think I am flooding the engine because of all the fuel that runs out of my exhuast. I left everything to factory defaults and nothing. Then I wanted to try and get out the o-ring on the lsn and I need some help on removing the needle. I backed it out all the way and it will not pull out,so how is this accomplished?

I want to check the o-ring and see if it is damaged. I have read that alot of people are having a problem with damaged o-rings. I then wanted to reset the lsn back to refaults but I am wondering if you need the barrel or slide on the carb fully closed or open to reseat the needle and turn it back 10 1/2 or 11 full turns. How do I seat the needle properly so I can reset the default? Thanks.

Can anyone help me at least on how to reset the lsn. Do I need to have the barrel or slide closed and then screw in the needle and then start from there? Also how do I get the o-ring out of the lsn? Thanks

If you want to check the O-rings, unscrew the LSN or HSN and pull it out, with the O-rings it's a snug fit. When you go back to resetting your LSN you should have the carb open, bottom out the LSN with the carb open, and then back out from there. I've read post where people are holding the carb closed forceably to reset the LSN but all this does is force the LSN into the main needle and possibly damaging it. Good luck

Thanks for the info Randy. I will check things out and i hope I will be running soon. Scott.
