Picco .26 problems

Was running my truck today fine, then when the engine stopped I could not get the starter to turn over. I suspected a dead motor on the ez start but on tearing it down it spun ok. Put it back on the truck and it spun over for a few seconds and locked up. I fitted a pull start I and the motor seams to lock at tdc with the glow plug out every few revolutions. The engine is only acouple of weeks old with maybe 8-10 tanks through it.

Should I put the ez start back on and warm the engine with a heat gun to try and loosen it and try it again?

it wouldnt be a flooded engine would it?

These engines are super tight. My Red Dot was the same way. Try heating it up with a heat gun or hair dryer.

Yep, heating it up did the trick its a very tight unit.

Yup. Once it gets good and broken in, you won't have to heat it. My fires up after sitting overnight with after run in it on about the 5th pull with no issues.

Had it out on the running track today, trying to get the tune right as it was cutting at wot, just got it nice changing in second and poping wheelies then let my lad have a go he gives it wot from stand still. Their was a horrible ripping sound..... just opened up the gear box to find two stripped gears. Think Ill loosen the slipper a bit.... just off to the local hobby shop for replacements {2.5 box}

Yeah mate that .26 is a beast in a T-Maxx. Does all sort damage if you are not careful. Bah! Slippers are over-rated! lol.
