Sorry to hear the bad luck on the ip address. OK Back to the issue...

Bill I am about to purchase one of the two Piccos talked about and I want to get the better of the two.You know what I am talking about. I will call you later about the. The P3 sounds cool but I want to clear up the RPMs on the two Mills. Can you clarify this?

Jon, I would recommend you contact Eric at Werks Racing. I deal with him often, and he's a knowledgeable person.

Bill I talked to Eric and he said that the werks Picco was a "strong engine" but he had no idea about the other Picco 26 from Ofna or team Orion or wasp. He just said that the P3 is an awesome engine and works well on MTs and buggies. He also said they were sold out. Guess that says a lot about the engine.

the p3

Actually I'm wrong Sdot. The specs I saw was showing a 3+2 sleeve. Thats wrong, the P3's are all 7 port sleeves. My RPM info was wrong as well the Werks engine makes 2.9 horses in the high 20k range, Mid 30k max. The Werks .26 has different port timing as compared to the Wasp's and Picco's. Werks has also taken over the importing of the Piccos from Trinity who use to handle it. The werks may be the way to go depending on price which I have seen many different numbers.

fliper143, You just woke up the dead and it seems that so have I. (old thread check the dates)

The Ofna Picco .26 Outlaw, Orion Wasp .26 and the Picco P3 in the generic form are the same engines. Sometimes you will see some modded by third parties or may have been ordered to slightly different specs or so I've been told by a US distributor for Picco. There have been very informative threads created in this forum about your very question. Use the search tool and you'll get several hits.
