what do you guys think about this engine for my revo??

is it drop in or do i need bb mount/exhaust..?(pretty sure i will)

are they a good mill and will it ruin my drivetrain??

the picco 26 can be installed with an ofna mount, and will bolt into the stock exhaust, but i would get a better exhaust anyway. i think the revo hold the power pretty well. for the pipe i would get a trinity pipe.

a lot of people put the Picco .26 maxx in there Revos. so I'm sure they can answer better than i could. but I've heard it was a powerhouse and you will need a lot of drive train upgrades before dropping this big block in there.

wait for some of the people with the engine to chime in here. and than talk with them and they will let you know the deal. I'm just telling you what I've heard from looking through the forum and talking with people with the engine

whats is the red dot version and wheres the best place to buy?

also I'm sure my tranny will hold up and the drivelines are beefy but what about diffs??

i also have 17mm aluminum hexs

The red dot version is a modded. The crank is lightened by drilling out excess metal, then it is replaced with red epoxy, hence red dot. This mod allows the engine to rev quicker and be a little more fuel efficient. It can make tuning more difficult, the more you modify an engine, the finickier it gets.
I'd say go for it, I regret not buying one of these. The OS 21 TM i bought gets smoked on the straights by the big block trucks. Everywhere else it's great, but I like to have lots of topend if I need it.

ok and the drivetrain what will i have to do??

will the red dot version last as long??
is the ofna mount ok??

what pipe i want to keep it rear exhaust?

as far as the pipe if you want to keep rear exhaust go with the trinity pipe, works great, and sound awsome too, you will also get great power with this pipe.

whjat about the ths pipe ??

and will t he red dot version last as lonmg??

Not sure, never owned a red dot. as for drive train. when i installed the Sirio .23 on my revo. my diffs gave up on life. . . i would go with the maxx over the red dot. easier to tune, and not much less power..... just my opinion. good luck with wichever you decide on
