Hey, I just bought a picco .21 "drop-in" motor for my maxx. I was wondering if anyone had ran the motor before and what their opinion is on the motor.

I have only gotton a chance to install it. I haven't even broken the thing in yet, or even started it for that matter.

Opinions wanted...

how much did you get it for?
I got one and found it to be a handful....when it works it's just got unreal power for a maxx....but I had to keep chasing the tune on it.....when it cooled down I had to lean it out to get it started and watch temps until it got close to running temp then richen it up.....if you let it cool lean it out and start over again...that was the only issue I had w/ it....and the carb is prone to air leaks.....the purple head ones seem to have fewer issues like I had....but 3 out of 5 people (me included in the 3) near me had almost identical problems w/ them

I have the purple-headed one.

it's technically the x2 .21 omega drop in.

I also have the x3 .21 engine in my storm and am very pleased with it. thats why I decided on this motor. I paid ~$100 for the motor, NIB.

NICE price.....what pipe...I found the RD logics one peice to just rip that engine all over the power band....

what are you bumping for...your last post just says T-maxx sirio upgrade.....
