yes i see, pretty good masking. it LOOKS like you didn't lay enough blue down before the white. (if it is a transparent blue with white BG) its good to me.
it does look like a cloud lol. but the door threw me off. the white maybe didnt get too much on there. or somehting. at first glance i though you use old createx auto air chamaleon blue without bonds all.(which gives a very similar look)
I'll have to believe you on that one. It's acually Tamiya paint that will end up flaking all to hell. Then I'll paint the spots black, and make it look like the sky is falling in.
Nope. Just how it turned out. I guess the one light dusting of pearl white wasn't as even as it looked, because the blue showed threw better in spots than others. I'm happy with the way it turned out. Just wish someone would have mentioned that the Tamiya paint you've probably seen at the LHS wasn't for lexan RC bodies, and it will flake all to hell when you crash it. I found this out on my buggy first, but not untill I had already painted this mustang. Here is a pic of my buggy. The yellow is where it flaked off.
I figure if it flakes some more, I'll paint it orange, then red if it does it again. You know continue the flame color sequence out, and like I said earlier in the thread I'll paint the flaked off spots on the mustang black to look like the sky is falling hopefully.
Just wanted to clear up that not all Tamiya paint isn't for RC since nobody set me straight on that. I learned yesterday that Tamiya make differant kinds of paint, and you just have to be carefull to get the right one. Oh well! Live, and learn.
