My wife and I run a photo studio. Currently we're shooting the D3 and a couple of D300's as backup's.

A new dslr-esque camera that was just released, may also be an option for you. The Casio EX-F1 is an amazing little camera! It will shoot great stills as well as AMAZING high frame-rate HD video! (super-slo mo basically) With the ability to shoot 300 fps/600 fps/ and 1200 fps!

It also features a 12x optical zoom. It is a smaller megapixel camera, but the rest of the features trade off in my opinion.

Well guys I had been talking to my Parents about getting into Photography and my mom then was telling a friend about it. Well My mom's friend just gave me a camera. It's a Point and Shoot but seems to be a pretty nice one. Any of you guys know anything about the Panasonic DMC-TZ3? It's 7.2 Megapixel with a 28mm wide angle (?) and 10 X Optical Zoom.

this was shot with my Kodak DX7630.. just a lucky shot
