I'm trying to get fresh with technology and upload some pictures. Opened a photo bucket account, but my pictures won't upload onto there. Keeps saying there's a network problem. Any ideas? I extended my rusty and want to show it off.:)

Hmmmm, I've not ever had that happen either. You are uploading them off your pc right? Did you resize them first? That always helps. What Windows are you running btw?

It's xp sng. I've been browsing through the help section, and it says to reboot the computer first if there's any problems. Then it says there's different methods of uploading, but I haven't checked that out yet. Be back in a minute.:)

Post what you find. I always open my pics with paint then resize them there.

^^Yes, definitely resize before uploading, it makes it much faster. Also, photobucket went through a total site update a couple weeks ago, and I've been having random issues as well. Try imgur Matt, it's much better IMHO.

Individually?

I use the Windows built-in photo editor to resize pics. You can do 1 or a whole bunch at once and it only takes seconds.

I'll have to try that Rob. It only takes a second to do individually though so its not a huge problem plus paint on windows 7 has a resize button on the main screen.

i have had issues with Linux and photobucket before. linux recognizes and deciphers between caps and lower case file extensions. my camera creates *.JPG photos and so on linux, photobucket won't even see them because IT wants *.jpg photos. so i always upload from my windows comp. of course that's a side not and not an issue here, but i thought i'd chime in with it haha.

let us know what happens bud.
