Hmm not too old, thought you might like these.

We;ve got a golden and two cats, but most cool are my wife's little Sugar Gliders. They have skin from foreleg to hindleg and can glide like flying squirrels. They're not rodents, they're marsupials, pouch and all. My wife usually carries them around in her shirt, as they're very symbiotic and bond to humans pretty well (still bite though! :D )

We have two. Or we did have. Wadget and Gadget, and they've just had joeys. They started off about the size of a peanut and had to crawl into the pouch on their own. Here they are, joeys 4 days out of the pouch. They ride around on ma and da's back most of the time now.

Here's another, gives you an idea of size. We have a friend who takes his to the park and he and his wife toss it back and forth, it's a game the gliders seem to like pretty well ('cause they get to glide.) Still working up to getting ours to bond that well, they're still a little skittish.

how hard are those to care for rocknbil? got a website with any info on them? i miss my pet squirrel.............

we now have an Anole, and a Ribbon Snake.

Sugar gliders are rad my neighbor has one but she never got it to bond...so it spends most of it's time in a cage....a big cage but still a cage.....I read you are supposed to wear 2 shirts and let them stay in there like a pouch when they are little.....they bond better that way.....but that goes on for a few weeks if I read it right.....I can't bring a pet to work w/ me no matter how cool he is.....

Here is my cat his name is Chase this cat talks to you and also plays fetch with you great cat to have around i saw him kicken some ass this weekend he definately dont like other cats entering his domain.

There's lots of sites out there. Not all that difficult, really. Like Plaidfish says, my wife wears two shirts and carries them with her, they're pretty compliant but they nip at her all the time. Not like an angry nip, I think they think fingers are peanuts.

They live off fruits and vegetable mixed in with baby food, they like sweet stuff. Meal worms are great treats. They need a pouch or two around, like a padded purse, and keep it in the cage, that's where they sleep during the day being nocturnal. Then when you want to go out you just take the pouch.

We have a huge walk-in cage in the corner of the living room, wife often gets in and they jump all over her, swing on her robe ropes . . . I think they got the movie Gremlins from sugar gliders.

my neighbor's goes ape poop everytime she opens the cage....it jumps around the room for about 15 mins then it's just tired......but for 15 mins almost non stop it looks like a real live cartoon scene....and the little claws feel weird......How long did your wife do the "2 shirt break in process"......I was told you should do it for at least 2 weeks....that kind of turned me off to wanting one......

i have 3 turtle red ear sliders named henry and pepper and snapper and we have a dod called snowball i dont know how to poast pics or i would curtis

Mmm . . she still does it. When she goes out around town and just drops them in her shirt. You've probably heard the sound they make when irritated . . . hard to describe but most people think she's got some joke noisemaker in her shirt lol . . .

Yeah watching them jump around it's like speedy gonzalez, they're quite the characters.

We have 5 guinea pigs!! But here is a pic of 2 of them the albino one is mine her name is Chevelle and the other onethe brown and white is my 6 year old sons and his name is spot. The other 3 are all brown, one is a baby hes really cool he bounces all over the cage jumping off the ramps and off there little plastic igloo shaped houses. We also have about 12 fish that are mainly mine I clean the tank and feed them. Guinea pigs are cool but can drive you insane if they need somthing food/water/treats they will all start squeeling untill you get them what they want. They are really good pets for kids our 2 year old holds them and they will sit in her lap very content.
