Fine tune it until your happy with it. Takes some experimenting some times. That's why I say all mods aren't beneficial. Every rig is different. At this scale a little goes a long way.

100%
Unfortunately that experimenting can be expensive sometimes LOL

How many times have we bought upgrades that didn't work out 🙃

Edit:

Gosh it's crazy how far it's come!

It'll be fun to rebuild it with all the take off parts LOL!

Alright alright alright!

Saturday is right around the corner (Second Crawler Comp) and I think she's dialed.
I was going to redo the shocks again but I'm lazy 😆

I switched up the foams because I wasn't happy with the performance in the LGRP Grippers.
I had Upgrade RC Two Stage in them, but the foams kept slipping and it made for an uneven carcass.

I now have a single stage in the front and Proline two stage in the rear; that foam as more bite and not as slick as the hard foam in the Upgrade RC packages.

Trying to gain some performance back I removed the Treal brass center skid and installed the OEM Traxxas one.

I've also played with the ESC settings because it had wayyy to much reverse. I could probably even pull a little more out but I want to wait until Saturday morning at M.H.C.C.

The only thing I am unsure about is what tire to use. I'm going to try and run the old line right at open to see what tire feels better before I decide. LGRP Grippers or Injora 1.3 Cling Ons

Here's the final scale w/battery and body

Unfortunately for it, here is the Redcat Ascent Apex 18. Same battery to keep things fair.

I have a feeling it's going to be easier to drive AND more capable..for less money 😭 😜🙂

I'm looking at flipping my shocks 180 due to oil leaking. Have you noticed any issues?

Nope! No issues at all.

I too noticed I had a small amount of leaking, from two of the shocks. I found they're very sensitive to how much oil you fill them with. I had to keep loosing the cap and allow oil to weep out, they've been dry since.
