has any one ever used this engine or know if this is a good company I've heard some good things and such just wondering what your input is i know you probably have never seen one in a t-maxx but hey theres a first for everything...thanks

There are a few threads about this motor. but to sum it up it has a nice powerband( I have it installed in my savage) I had to gear up alot just to use all of its power. I am not sure what type of t-maxx you have but if it is stock you will need a .21 chassis Also since this motor is powerful I think some metal gears would be in order. You might want tyo search the t-maxx fourm on how to make a though maxx.

yea...I've been doin some research for some time now i plan on getting the .21 conversion...all steel transmission gears.differential and some strong cvd's...and then see what happens from there...

I was researching the Peak Diable .28 for myself, as well. There is a thread on that down in the power plant section of the forum. I came to the conclusion that it was a worthy powerplant. It is the same motor as the Orion/Wasp .28, if I remember corrsctly.

What prices have you seen on this motor? I have a LHS source that has it for 159.00. He has two left.

its final i went with this for my maxx project i got one off ebay for 149 new in box with free shipping...good deal cause I've seen them goin for around 160 as well

i got a team orion wasp .28 in my savy....and its the same engine than diablo .28\fantom .27\team infinity samurai 728(by the way, its team infinity made these engine)

and if you got on that adventure to built a big block t-maxx its not only the conversion kit you need, i built one my self and cost me around 1200$ usd ...
you need :

-better diff because stocker one will blow in the first tanks:you need UNLIMITED ENGINEERING SPIDER8 DIFF( MADE BY OFNA)

-you gona need also bullet proof your tranny with OTB gears( first and second gears...they out off busyness now but you can find on ebay) and you gona need top shaft gears by UNLIMITED UNGINEERING

-and you gona need to buy also cvd from front to back

-and spur gear you gona need 52t ofna with STROBE slipper cluth and sprong kit

...trust me its an big hassle to make a real good big block tmaxx ....i was thinking me too at the biggening me too and i didnt about these stuff ..
now my truck i use it some time ,I'm scare to brake it off lol

look these pics thi is the one i made
