I saw that on Fox News this morning at 3am. Can't help but wonder if they actually were inspired by the movies?

Who the hell would even think of this, though?

"Dude, let's take the dead guy's checks down to the Pay-O-Matic and see if they'll cash his check."
"But what if they ask for ID?"
"Uuuuuhhh....hey, I know. Let's bring him along!"

I wonder if they bothered to put a jacket on him.

You have got to be shitting me.

What is wrong with people?

lol! all for an attempt for $355? the only act that could match the intelligence would be shoving sand down an air intake of an audi... but even that would be a close call...

Hey! It was probably the same 2 guys! The guy in the office chair was the Audi owner.
not quite. the guy in the office chair is somebody they found in a sandbag. it was the mechs idea to cash in the check in the dead guys hand, and the owner doubtlessly agreed with it!

lets give them a little more credit... at least the thought about something... the 'what if they need the person present' question. thats a WHOLE step further than last time.

I think you nailed it, hvymetalalchmst. The next thing they'll be thinking about is when their story will be on "America's Stupidest Criminals."
