They have to use cranes to keep their machines from sliding or turning over on the banked turn.
This gives you an idea just how steep that bank is.

That is a cool pic. I hope that their seats swivel or that ride would suck. And also thats the slowest anyone will ever go around that turn.
 
This must REALLY wreck the backs of the equipment drivers.

The crane is supporting a conveyor to bring asphalt to the spreader. The yellow dozers on top of the track are supporting the equipment with cables.

Pretty cool pics. I think they start tire testing next week. Jamie's on schedule to test I believe.

It's 31* in the turns. The old Bristol was 36* all the way up.

The only thing that would move any slower on that curve would be Rolex's Savage.
