I just got my first nitro, a T-Maxx 2.5, traded a bicycle for it
took it home, cleaned it up, rebuilt the engine, got it running,
replaced the clutch, bought a new body (also my first time painting/trimming)

Don't have any before pictures as i just updated my phone to iOS 6 and didn't back it up first

Pretty stoked about it, although i can't get it running long enough to tune it, even though i have been reading online since i got it! LOL
It is currently at my LHS getting tuned. only $25 so i figured why not?

Did you now you are missing the skid plates? Those need to be in place as they aid in keeping the bulkheads aligned properly. Looks nice though!

You aught to get a motorsaver or 3.3 T maxx high flow air filter for it, they are heads & shoulders better then the old button style filter.

Your still gonna have to learn to tune it anyway.:)

Like the job you've done on the body, looks good!:thumbs-up:

+1 on the skid plates, they will also take a brunt of the force during an impact and therefore protecting the rest of the truck.

it looks like you are missing the front diff also

unless it was a S-Maxx

yeah i know i'm gonna have to learn to tune it, but i couldn't even get it running long enough to start it and i had no idea where to even begin.
Yeah, it is missing the skidplates, and front diff and axles.

Nitro4910: I am actually considering buying a brand new 3.3 for it. with the Traxxas Power Up program they are 115 after shipping, you can get a brand new one on eBay for 120 with shipping. Might as well keep an entire extra motor around.

And thanks about the body. i think it turned out sweet minus the runs in the paint. LOL
