I know I'm a little late but I recently got back into the whole nitro scene and I have purchased a full aluminum skeleton for a 2.5 Maxx and I have an old Pro .15. I parted out what I will need off of my old Maxx, so basically all that's left are the entire frame, front and rear diff's, drivelines, and transmission. The chassis is pretty worn out, I've had it since Christmas after their first release, most of the parts are replacements except for the skidplates and rear shock tower... so yeah, lol.

EDIT>>>>> No posting anything for sale other than in the F/S forum. You must meet both requirements to post there. 100 posts and been a member for 3 months.<<<<<<<

I blew the Pro .15 in my old Maxx and wanted the 2.5 but I didn't care much to convert my old frame and whatnot. So I purchased an aluminum skeleton and I'm gonna rebuild it so I have a nice little 2.5 to play with. I was reading about the snapping driveshafts and stuff and was wondering if I should still go with the heavier drive shafts even with Dynamite CVD's... any suggestions?

I personally would go with a more well-known company. I'm not too fond of Dynamite, as much of their stuff is kinda generic. I like the MIP cvds. If you wanna step up from those, there is always UE (unlimited engineering).

I put the integy aluminum conversion on mine and that was the biggest mistake ever. i had a snapped bulkhead 3 runs later.

I run MIP cvd's and dynamite outers. I haven't had problems with either and YES you will snap the stockers with no problem.

I am in the process of parting mine out and getting a savage
