So my friend recently broke his s-maxx in half on a curb and i have the parts he needs. am i the only one giving parts or selling for just about nothing?

Nope, when I was at my LHS a guy came in after jacking up the front end of his Nitro Rustler. The shop was out of a couple parts he needed so I took them off of mine and gave them to him, I had just cracked my engine casing so it was going to be down for a while, I also mailed a spare engine mount to a guy on a forum after he cracked his. I figure if you help people out with this hobby you may get the same help later on down the line.
I agree. I think you'll find that's a fairly common thing in this hobby. I have given away several parts to friends and even to members here to help them out.

I have given away butt tons of parts to friends. I darn near rebuilt an entire T-maxx for another guy in my old spares. Many times I would rather give away stuff than sell it. Help keep people in the hobby...all good.
