I think I might have flubbed duck.
I found this part on my shop floor and it looks really familiar.
The car was running great but the clutch bell turned colors and we weren't shifting into 2nd gear. Does this part go by the flywheel???
I hate when I leave out parts.

no those come on the engines, i think they are used for a prop on plane engines.

Could this have been from my old engine and maybe I got a new one with my new O.S. engine??? Maybe?

if it came with the OS and is for a prop, you might not have needed it since you obviously dont have a prop (but maybe if you did it would have made it over that pavement to dirt transition a lil better)

was your old engine already on a car/truck? if so no it didnt come on your old engine. if it was a new engine that came out of a box, it had a nut holding this piece where the flywheel goes. but it doesn't matter just toss it in the garbage unless you plan on getting something with wings.

The prop would have helped for sure Charlie (wise guy)
My old engine was an 18 on an Exceed Extreme. I replaced it with an OS CV-R 18.
I just don't know if I left this off or if I got a new one with the new motor.
I guess it will be easy enough to check since I'm tearing the whole thing down....again...
