Parma Faslucent colors & Faskrome...

It says the FasLucent Paints can be backed with FasChrome for a Satin deep metallic effect. I wonder if the FasLucent paints can be backed with Alclad or Spaztix chrome for a "colored chrome" effect ?

I used the FasLucent Paints (Blue) on a hyper 7 body and with the fasKrome they really pop out. Back the Faskrome with black and it stands out even more. Only bad thing I found about these paints is they are extremely thin and if you don't have the pressure exact they splatter all over the body. 2 pounds to high or to low and you have bad results.

I wouldn't try it. I think the water based Faskolor's wont like the laquer based Alclad or Spazstix sprayed on top of it.
From what I heard at the LHS, the Faslucent colors, backed with the Faskrome, give a really sick metallic look. I dont think it will be like the colored chrome though..

I agree. When you pull back on the airbrush, sometimes nothing, then pull back just a touch and "SPLAT". Comes out too much.
After a lot of practice with that paint, you will get the hang of it.

One of the things I notice with this paint is if you get to much paint the faskrome repairs it. You would never know that you screwed up the FasLucent color.
