What combo should i use for my e-maxx in sand and snow. Like i was thinking orf geeting paddles for the front and rear but i didnt know if that would be good for turning and stuff or the sort? Should i do that or get those narrow ribbed tires for the front and have paddles in the rear? Also dos turning the stock chevrons around work well?

losi makes a nice set the sand wedges and i dont rem the other name but look like they may work great you would need the losi adapters cuz they only fit losi wheels

Just get paddles for the rear end. I have a revo 3.3 and have done that and stuck with the stock front tires on the front. It works great. I can't recall which paddles I got for my truck but one mod that I did on them was to cut down the paddles some, like 1/4 inch or so. It didn't effect performance at all, they still tore through sand on the beach. What it did do was take some strain off the engine and reduce engine temps by a ton. 30+ degrees less if I remember correctly... I hear they're making the paddles a bit shallower on most models now so check before your cut. If they look shallow enough then run'em as is... otherwise cut away!

Here's a picture of the paddles I have for my revo. They'll fit a t-maxx depending on your set up. If you get a pair where the paddles look really big, take some masking tape and tape across the top about a 1/4 inch down or so and cut above the tape line on each paddle. They'll perform just as well but it won't do such a number on your engine.

With the Emaxx being 4wd, you should get paddles in front and back. The spinning of the front wheels with the Losi splines will only make them free spin in the sand/snow. Or like jim stated, go stock in front for a little traction.

Then you could look at chip's new rig.

Sorry chip. stole ur pic.

well I'm trying to deside between the losi paddles or the proline maxx paddles. I'm likin the maxx paddles because it says maxx in it and they can be reffering to the t/e-maxx. But the losi paddles are cheaper but they dont come with the rims. Do any of you know if the proling maxx paddles come with the rims
