I am using 30% but I run at an elevation of about 6000ft in Denver CO. I talked to a few people and they say don't go over 25% without a shim but at my alti. it would be ok.

curiuos ..whats a P5? I am in the arket for a buggy.NEW to the buggy scene.

shim is actually a thin metal washer that separates the cooling head from the crank case. Please be careful to remove these as you can damage the mill or improve the performance. if you remove shim(s), you lower the cooling head closer to the case. This may damge it by hitting the top of the piston to the Head.

yes, I did shim it. One silver (0.4mm) and one copper (0.1mm). I'm thinking about running some 40% with two silver shims for the U.S. Gas champs this weekend.

The P5 is a model of engine made by NovaRossi.

Sub-Brands will be Nova itself, Rex and Top. Again, all made by NovaRossi. The TOP P5 is getting a LOT of attention around here lately.

The fuel content is exactly that. The percent of NitroMethanol in the fuel itself. 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and so on.

HP Invent - Where are the races? California? Let us know how you fair out. Sounds like fun! 40% ?!?!? Wow, its gotta cost a chunk! BUt then again, doesn't everything in this biz.
