Do servo's typically have some sort of overload protection?
My throttle servo will open and hold position until about 1/2-3/4, but if I open the throttle any more the servo will close completely then about 1 second later try to regain the position at which it failed. It is a Tmaxx with the OEM Traxxas 2018 servo. The servo has worked well for about 2 years now and worked well when I benched the rig about a month ago.

The servo may be going bad. They usually don't have a fuse or diode for over-voltage protection.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought. The steering servo works just fine so I don't think it's a TX/RX problem. I do have another throttle servo on order. Just waiting for UPS.
