Overhauling ???

I dont see the similarities at all in Boyds cars. Yeah theres the boydsters, but he built that for himself and people fell in love with it, so he built them for them because they wanted him to. One thing that I've always liked about his work is he deals with steel. None of the fiberglass replica stuff. I can only imagine what he has to pay for some of the stuff, just to totally strip it down and do it his way. To me theres a difference between hot rods, and street rods. And I see boyd as hot rods and Foose as street rods, so its totally two different things to me. I did really like when foose changed a new thunderbird to look more like the old school ones. That was sweet.

I personaly like the "old school" Hotrods. Big block blower driven monsters with Massive tires out back on a set of 15 by 10 wheels and skinnys up front.With a custom paint job thats simple. Like the flat black ones you see with some sort of really nice pinstiping. I'm going to keep my car to look like a 50's Rod. Thats why I stuck with the 348 its rare and what came in the car. I'm thinking of getting some Chrome baby moons in 15's but dunno anyway its going to be defiently Old school

I'm totally old skool too. But I also REALLY like old cars with the bog ol rims tucked in them. I think thats sooo nice looking. Boyd did a car called the sniper that was a 64 impala that had a twin turbo'd 502 big block and it was sitting on 22's and that car was enough to make me have to change the drawers. Jess, I think ya should lower your car and tuck a nice set of Billet wheels on it. Thatd be VERY cool. I have a buddy who has a 63' with 20's on it and airbag suspension and that this is reallly nice. He just has it one solid color (Its kinda a light green) and has the von duch style pinstripes on it. Its pretty slick.
