i'm in the process of building a s maxx coz i got bored and wanted one but you can't buy them in australia for some strange reason
anyway i got a heap of stock parts left over from my 4909 maxx except a trans, now i bought 1 off ebay from a 4907 and was wondering if the output shaft size is different i dont think it looks like it but could someone confirm this coz i plan on using the standard centre shafts for now

Are the shafts the same with different yokes or are they completly different coz i was thinking i could just change the yokes and use it for now

They are different, but if you have a 6mm drill bit you could just drill out the 5mm yokes to 6mm & use the ones you have for now.
