I hear that several people out there are running the outlaw, I have one but am using the stock Savage pipe. I want to get one but I am not sure which to buy. What is everyone running?

I'm in the same boat as you, I have the Picco and stock pipe. I have to wait for some more funds to do the pipe but that is probably next.

I've been running the Hot Boddies pipe. I noticed a lot more low end over the stock pipe. Top end isn't bad either. I would definitely recommend it, especially because it's only around $25.

Just watch the HB pipe. Twiztid blew the end right off of his with the Picco .26. Look at the RD Logics or THS if possible. They seem to be made a lot better.

I will be able to let you know how well the THS pipe works with the Picco as soon as my mill arrives.

You got the Picco Çh®i§tiªñ? Lucky basterma.

I agree. the RD Logics (for west coasters) and the THS (for east coasters) are suppose to be killer for the savage. I know 2 guys who run the 8 port with RD Logics pipe and the sucker kicks bootay! If you have the funds though, I wold use the stock HPI header and buy the RB Concepts buggy pipe. That is suppose to kick major bootay.

The reason I say RD for west and THS for east is because the availabity of each on those coasts. Out here in the west RD is found everywhere and THS can only be found in magzines. Vise versa out east.

I just have to make sure I take down the needle assemblies and carb before I run it. I will actually be doing this on all mills going forward.

Got word today it could be another week before I see it though... Oh well, patience is a virture. I guess.

Hey Christian, I gave an update on the HB pipe on that thread you are talking about, and it wasn't the Picco that messed the pipe up, it was from the impact of the crash. The shock tower slammed into the header causing the mount on the HB pipe to break. But anyways, nothing wrong with the HB pipe for the price.

My bad! Thanks for catching that Twiztid. Id hate for someone to not buy it because of something I said....

Thanks again!

-Chris

No prob, I found it hard to believe that a pipe would do that from just compression. Thank God that crash didnt mess up the block:madface:

No kiddin! Could you imagine if the header just snapped off a chunk around the exhaust port! Man that would have sucked...
