To anyone that has an otterbox or is thinking of buying one; AMAZING.

The defender has saved my iPhone SOOO many times before. Not to mention the amazing customer service.

So, about 2 weeks ago I ripped The silicone outer shell on my case. I called up otterbox and told them what happened, then they game me an email to send pictures of the damages. And a week later a brand new case showed up at my door step. No charge to me at all. I am very very very pleased with the guys and gals over at otter box.

Thanks for listening to my little 'happy' rant :D

Good deal. There are some places that still have good customer service. Glad to hear the good stories occasionally.

Always good to hear that there is still good customer service out there. Certainly went above and beyond what would be expected of them.

I loved the older material silicone they used to have out. The new stiffer more bulky don't impress me, and stretch out of place. I still use the otter box on my iPad, but its the old style one. I converted to life proof and won't go back now.

All that said, good on them for their customer service.

I dropped my 5 with an Otter Box out of a man lift from 60' up about a month ago. It only landed in the dirt/grass but I just wiped off the skid mark and it was good to go.
I have the LifeProof case as well that I use when I'm doing ASTM/AAMA water testing but only to keep it dry, I prefer the Otter when working in dry conditions.

I have the Otter Box on my iPod Touch and love the protection it gives when I've dropped it. I've also had good luck with Ballistic cases for my Android stuff.

Great case,I've had one on my HTC inspire since I've had it,defender model, before this case I had a bad habbit of ruining a phone every few months,"not kidding" so far I've had this one over a year because of the Otterbox

They saved my bb several times. Even ran it over with my truck. Don't care much for the ipone case. Already falling apart in less than a year.

I use to use a defender till the silicone stretched out.
Got a LifeProof now and will never get another otter box again

Ya still trying to talk myself into a life proof. But the price of $70 for the case and $50 for the belt klip is a little overpriced

When I bought the Iphone5 I immediately bought a life proof case and I hated it, the only thing good about it was that it was thin. The life proof is very flimsy and blocked the mic on the back of the 5 which made it sound like it was under water. I had the otter box on the old 3s so I switched to an otter box on the 5 and I'm very happy with it. Glad to hear the service is there if I ever need it!

Imo,the life proof is only good for two things, waterproofing and appearance, compared to an Otterbox a life proof doest even come close to providing the same shock absorbancy......

Good to know. Guess ill just get a new otter box since this one is starting to fall apart and the screen protector is pretty scratched up
