For sure. I'm not new to message boards by any means, and now a good one when I see it. I'm thinking you guy's are going to like seeing the learning curve and what not I'm going to show you. I hope to be a threat in the local scene buy the end of the summer. And maybe look into doing some regional racing next season.
I've got 3 deals working right now.
A buddy wants to sell me his old rc10t, and two kinwald edition xx buggies along with all his old batteries, chargers, controlers, esc's etc etc for 300 bucks. I'm going to look at the stuff, and come to a decision. I may buy some of this stuff and race a buggy to get a feel for things while I'm building a xxxnt to race.
I have another buddy that has a couple of t-maxxes around. I'm going to try and get one of em from him so I'll have somthing to bash. If not I'll probably buy a savage. This will be for bashing, and no racing.
All while I'm fine tuning driveing and tunning skills so I can compete with the xxxnt.
Then to eventually do a 1/8 buggy.
So right now I have no driving time at all, no tunning at all, have assembled 2 kits and enjoyed that. And am chomping at the bit to get going. The sooner the better.
I would love to do some onraod stuff, but noone around here races that stuff. with the exception of a small indoor track that only does electric. I may look into this later on.
