Does anyone know what the real name is?

Besides that, does anyone have one of the engines, my LHS has a couple of them, and is willing to sell them cheap, but I want to know how good they are, if ppl have them? Thanx....

If they are cheap who cares... if you can get them cheap just run them awhile and if they suck just lean em out and get tons of power until they go boom

they said it was an italian mad engine, and i read somewhere that those are good, true or not, i am thinking of still getting one!

*******mad = made

OPS engines are good for the price, there was a guy at my local track that had 1 in a Tmaxx. It ran pretty well for being a $50. engine. You can not compare these engines to other Italian made engines. Thats like comparing a TRX.15 to an OS.15.:hehe:

Well actually OPS has been making marine R/C engines for many many years and no they are not Picco. Picco doesn't even make an engine with a cast aluminum pullstart housing or bright red head. Picco also does not make an engine for less than $50 bucks. Do a web search for OPS engines you will find lots of marine engines.
