In my youth the 'scopes I used were EXPENSIVE ! The other day I found a single channel for order 'scope at WALMART for LESS THAN FORTY DOLLARS !!!

Just got it today; cursory look is positive. Will follow up after testing. Also be looking to "WALLY-WORLD" for power supplies, freq meters/counters, wave form gets, etc. More posts on bench electronic tools one of these days.

I have noticed Wally World is slowly turning into an Amazon. Lots of things showing up on there.

I have always been curious about oscilloscopes. I don't know enough about electronics to even know how to use one though. But they are very cool.

Thanks for the response; it is appreciated ! You are spot-on with everything in your RIPOSTE. It took over ten days, to get my 'scope and indeed WALLY-WORLD is becoming WAL-AZON Besides a wide variety of 'scopes, they have waveform generators, pulsers, frequency meters, signal generators, power supplies and more. The low prices probably mean these gizmos are cheaply made. But, since I am a hobbiest, it is OK. For what it is worth, WALMART is the exclusive source for HART TOOLS which has an RC Truck:

The HART RC TRUCK is cute. If someone had a lot of HART'S other tools ( i.e. lots of HART 20 v LiPO batteries lying around ) this RC truck would be a good source for an entry-level truck for their kids to play with.

Besides my Tesla Coil to wirelessly send power to my RC vehicles, I have an over-the-top-long-term project to build a particle accelerator ( atom smasher ) and detector. I have some ideas about a Grand Unified Field Theory that need verifying. Wonder if WAL-AZON has the stuff I need to build these Physics toys

Lol. Now my head really hurts!

I was just watching Joe Rogan's interview with Brian Cox (the Physicist, not the actor). I think it was from 2019, but I just recently discovered some of Brian's documentaries, and have watched all of them more than once. He is a highly entertaining dude. They talked quite a bit about the particle accelerator in France. 16 miles in diameter . I remember seeing a few documentaries on that years ago. I guess they have been making some awesome discoveries with it.

I would love to see some vids of some things you would use the scope for. You being a teacher and all, would likely mean it would be a good learning experience. Electronics have always been just a bit outside my grasp, even though my father was a huge electronics guru.
