Right now I have a OS 18TM in my t-maxx and it is very reliable. I'm going to get a Revo and was thinking about puting an RB 323 in it but don't know how reliable they are. Is there anyone that has experience with both OS and RB engines? Is the RB as reliable as the OS?

Thanks

RB make engines that are equal to Novarossi in terms of quality.

RB is very reliable and you should have no problem.

I have 18TM and RB TM323. Both engines are easy to tune and stay tuned.

If I only have to pick one out of 2 of those. I will pick 18TM because the mill is easier to control. The TM323 is just to powerful (I snapped the center drive shaft on 2nd day).

A nice .18 engine other than those 2 will be O.S. .18 TZ.

I have the 18tm and my buddy has the rb23 and they are both easy to tune, but the rb has more power and is faster, but I really think its overkill. I would buy another 18tm before getting the rb23 personaly

akmadmaxx,

Why another TM? The TZ has a pullstart version and thats what I am going to get if I failed to a decent .21

My fingers hurt searching.....

The rb 323 isnt actually made by rb it is made by the same company as the sirio .23 rb just slapped there name on it if you look at em closely there practically identical. I havnt used either motor what I've seen you either love the rb or you hate it. Me i just went from the os tz to the wasp .26 should be here monday :)

I have both. Both are easy to tune and both can really hold a tune.

Thanks for all your input! I think the Rb 323 is what I'm going to go with. The only reason I questioned it, is because I heard they have had some carb problems.

True true I think I would go that route, either way the one new mill to go into my revo at this time is an Os .18 tm or tz

Carb problems? Hmmmm. Nope never had any of those issues. I am looking for carb inserts to "de-tune" the mill a little for racing, though.

Thanks Zandor. I want to take a little off the bottom end. I checked out the link. This should do it.
