I'm thinking of going to a big block in my Revo. I can't get quiet enough to make me happy out of the 3.3. Has anyone had any experience with an OS V-spec .26? The lhs has one on the shelf for $309, they're selling the Pico .26 almost $35 cheaper. After all I read about Picos, I'm wondering if this is motor is worth the extra money.

A big block race mill will rip the tranny out of the revo too easily. The V-Spec .21 is one of the fastest mills on the market. Their .25 and .28 would be way too much! Picco engines are made better than O.S. engines IMO. The Picco .26 mid block tuned correctly would be plenty for bashing

Scrogg, I've actually set the truck up for racing only. You think with a total weight of a little over 9 pounds and a center diff a the O.S. .26 would be too much for the tranny?
