Sure, I have drilled the hole to keep my one way clean but I am tired of breaking pull starters. So I am looking for an alternative to T-Maxx OS 15 pull starters. Or away to better preserve the next one I ordered today.

Did you put a presser fitting on the back of the pullstart? I put one on with a piece of fuel tubing and any time by one-way slips I just break out the wd-40 and all good. Without having to take anything apart.

I think I have a pic on webshots.....

Looking now.

Dont have - Ill snap some tonight.

I am not so worried about the one way. I need to quit breaking the pull starter string. I try to be gentle and not over pull. So I am looking for alternatives to pull starters or away to make them last longer. Thanks for your post. I will look into the pressure fitting.

Heres the Racers Edge power starter. You mount this in place of the pull start and use a drill to start it. Kind of pricey though.

I personally use the KHB easy start adapter that Flattop linked to on my OS, since I do not care about the added weight of the ez start.

So, with both the KHB and Racer's edge products. How do you clean your One-Way without removal. Can you apply nitro clean somehow?

With the KHB you are using the traxxas easy start, so you just drill it and put a pressure fitting like Christian did on his pull start.

With the Racers Edge I dont see a way of doing it without removing the starter.

You can clean the one way the same as Christian mentioned above, If you use the EZ start, just put a pressure fitting on it and attach some fuel tubing and you can shoot some cleaner in there anytime your one way slips.

oops, NCnitro beat me to the punch with the answer.

starter box chassis

there is a local guy who makes a starter box chassis and starter box for the tmaxx. His web site is prohobbyracing.com The chassis design is great! It's strong and very light weight. Check out the pictures on this site. I tried to attach pixs of mine, but I couldn't lower the resolution
