thanks robmob!

sorry guys, i guess click to enlarge?

it started for the 1st time a few minutes ago, but it sounded pretty bogged down with richness so i screwed the highspeed in and reset it back to factory. lets say it started on the 1st try, but it ran away then died. so, i decided i would try putting it on a stand then adjusting the idle to make it stop but it over revved and overevved extremely much when i pinched the fuel line. how do i do this guys? i really didnt want to post for help but i dont want to kill this engine yet. help would be strongly appreciated.

ok, so i adjusted the idle speed(took off the airfilter and looked in) and it ran for a good 30 seconds before dying, and now its extremely hard to pull the pullstart. whats that about?

Hard pullstart?

Sounds like you prolly flooded it.

Try using a heat gun and heating the side of the engine and see if that helps after you check to make sure its not flooded.

Got to run hope you get it going!

Oh and if you can't turn it over loosen the plug just a tad and then screw it down when it starts.

I'm trying...the only way i can get it to prime is blowing into the pressure line.

That works.. taste horrible but it works..

I usually put the fuel bottle up to the exhaust line instead of my mouth to prime it just shoot air into the line not fuel.

you can also pinch you exhaust and pull it a few times to prime it. thats what i do wit hmy revo.maybe a better idea than tasting the fuel

she lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i drove her around the driveway for the first 3 minute round a few minutes ago. i had to adjust the throttle trim, she wasn't gettin enough gas haha. anyway i only got it up to 130 degrees while rapped in tin foil. how can i get it hotter?

DOn't lean it out just yet. What I do to get the engine warm and stay warm in cold weather, is to use an old kids sock. Toddlers to be exact. I cut off the end and slide it over the cooling head. IT still able to breath and you can temp it if you want.

Try that and let us know if your condition improves.

Jon

I have used it a couple of times but I prefer the sock method. Its much easier to put on and I can re-use it.

How did it go?

just what i said, my 1st post today. started, got to 95 degrees, cut off and it wouldnt start again.
